Hallelujah! Brandon made it as far as Austin, Tx! He just called today at 12:30EST. So it took him 3 days from the East Coast, traveling @ 45mph. Guess he's pretty tired after this first leg of his long journey. Next stop is Tucson,Az. but right now he's resting up at his friend's house. I've been thinking about him off & on for the past 3 days... praying, too. My prayers were answered, as far as I'm concerned. Now I can relax and enjoy Mother's Day tomorrow... Hope to hear from my two other children as well. I'm so lucky to have such great kids. I wouldn't trade motherhood for anything in the world. I might not be rich money-wise but I'm doubly rich in having the love and respect of my children.
Thanks, Mom for being such a wonderful role model for me. And thanks for giving me life... I love you and I love my family!
Happy Mother's Day to everyone whether you're a mom or not. If you nuture and care for someone special, you should celebrate too!
(Mom's wearing the Butterfly Necklace I made for her. She loves butterflies!)
